Athens, Greece to Ponte Vedra Beach
A Psychologist's Journey Across Continents and Careers.
🏛️ How a Global Career Shaped My Approach to Therapy.
When people meet me today, they see a clinical psychologist with decades of experience, a quiet office in Ponte Vedra Beach, and a commitment to helping individuals and couples grow stronger, wiser, and more fulfilled.
Before I became a psychologist, I lived a very different life—one that took me from the executive suites of multinational companies to villages in Africa, cities in Europe, high-rise towers in Asia, and modern metropolises in the Middle East.
A Different Kind of Training
I began my professional journey with a degree in philosophy and a deep curiosity about the human condition. My first career was in employee relations and human resources, where I held leadership roles at Citibank, GTE, and PepsiCo. I helped people navigate workplace conflict, cross-cultural communication, and personal development across a wide range of settings.
During that time, I lived in Athens, Greece, serving as Personnel Director for PepsiCo International’s Africa and Middle East Division. I worked with individuals from vastly different cultural backgrounds—each with unique beliefs, values, and emotional norms.
That experience taught me something no textbook ever could: human complexity is both universal and deeply personal.
A Turning Point
Eventually, I returned to the United States to pursue advanced clinical training in psychology. I earned graduate and doctoral degrees from respected universities and completed extensive residency work at nationally recognized medical centers and psychiatric institutes.
Those years immersed me in the science of assessment, diagnosis, and therapy. But I never lost sight of the global and humanistic perspective I brought with me.
Bringing It All Together
Today, in private practice here in Ponte Vedra Beach, I bring together everything I’ve learned—from boardrooms to clinics, across continents and cultures, from lived experience and rigorous science.
My clinical approach is grounded in research and guided by empathy. Whether I’m helping someone manage depression, anxiety, grief, or relationship struggles, I draw on a broad toolkit—and a deep belief in human resilience.

Therapy doesn’t happen in isolation. It occurs within the broader context of a person’s life. And my job is to meet you there—with expertise, insight, and care.
